Chief purpose of organization:

To present a collective voice for environmental causes.  There is strength in numbers, and government does not always have the best interests of the people at heart.  New members are welcome.

 

R.O.L.E. has effectively stopped two (2) mega incinerators from being sited near Lewiston Porter School (+15 year ban).   Modern Agreement which calls for their closing in 2011.  We support environmental candidates (though very rare).
