Birds are the most easily observed wildlife in our region--from urban to suburban to rural areas and to wilderness parks and refuges.  It is here you'll learn about which birds can be observed in which areas at what times of the year, about what others have done to provide for cavity-nesting birds, particularly our state bird, the bluebird, how to build and monitor a nesting box, how to make a simple suet feeder for woodpeckers, chickadees and other birds, and how to get schools involved in birding projects.

If you have information to share, or questions about birding--contact us and we'll respond, perhaps here in "Birding Information."
